How is 10x applied after 30k?

Is is based on transaction or is it based on value.

For example, if I make my first transaction of 50k for the month, will that be split into two where I get 6x (online txn) for 30k and 10x for 20k? Or I will get 6x for 50k and any txn henceforth will get 10x?

Statement generated, received 10x rewards for spends over 30k .. all good
I have to pay a huge hospital bill tomorrow. I understand from your comment that I will get 3X RP for first 20K and 10X RP for the remaining amount (2L+). Please confirm if this is correct assumption. It will be a single transaction and this will be my first transaction on my wealth card.

Yes.. for the first 20K 3X ,afer that 10X for the cumulative spend in excess of 20K in the same statement period..
One signle transaction is also fine..

Example:
You spent a total of 2L in a statement period ( no of transactions could be 1 or more)..
You get
3X rewards for 20K
10X rewads for 1.8L ...

NOTE:
Rent, property spends, education, wallet, government services, insurance, utilities , fuel and EMI spends are not eligible to included in this spend target for 10X rewards.

I have 2 big (for me) spends coming up this month:
- 10g Gold Coin approx 1L
- Insurance Premium 2.5 L

I have and IDFC First Wealth Card with a 10L limit.
- Does it make sense to spend the above 2 on this card?
- How many points will I get?
- Any good redemption partners?
- Is Marriott or Accor a transfer partner (I will be using these for my Infinia points).

My other cards are:
- HDFC Infinia
- Federal Bank Scapia
- IndusInd EazyDiner
- Union Bank Signature
- ICICI Amazon Pay
- ICICI Coral

I want to avoid the Infinia and Union Bank for now.
Please tell me the pros and cons of using each of these. Also what would be a good option.
- Both spends on a single card.
- Each spend on a separate card.
- Each spend split on multiple cards

Not much aware about RPs, others can help here.

But keep in mind your CIBIL will drop when you spend more than 30% on a single card. In my case one single statement exceeding 30% in IDFC Wealth took my CIBIL down from 809 to 792. Took around 30-45 days to recover.

Oh. I was not aware of this. I always thought that you should not spend (total of all cards) more than 30% of your total credit limit. Now this means I have to spend under 3 L on IDFC.

Why do you want to avoid Infinia? It is the best card for these spends you have mentioned

Do both spends on Infinia … single spend on gold and 2.5l split into 1.5 and 1 for Insurance

Other good option is Amex Plat Travel which u don't have

Infinia bills are paid from the NRE account. Insurance spends I usually do from my current account. Infinia does not have the option to pay from any other account other than NRE.
