Yes, I think Qatar Airways is a partner in Axisis it also applicable for axis / hdfc bank transfer to avios?
Typically Qatar miles for most of Europe (where it flies directly from Doha) the miles requirement is low (I saw FRA/MUC/BER all at 27500 from BOM) compared 33K for United and 30K for Turkish. But the cash portion of United is low.Though the miles required is reasonable, the tax part that needs to be paid in cash is more as compared to booking using Krisflyer.
I am planning a holiday in 2024. We are yet to finilize between Paris, NZ and Singapore. Did below research to evalute if I need to transfer to Qatar airways. Ofcourse i dedcided not to.
Bangalore to Paris:
Singapore Airlines - 180,000miles +INR 9,162
AirIndia (Star Alliance) using Krisflyer - 61,000miles + INR8,627
Qatar Airlines - 78,500miles + INR16,786
Other location in Europe has similiar costs.
Bangalore to Singapore:
Singapore Airlines - 40,000miles +INR 6,624
AirIndia (Star Alliance) using Krisflyer - 27,000miles + INR16,319
Qatar Airlines - 75,000miles+ INR25,071
Bangalore to Auckland:
Singapore Airlines - 150,000miles +INR 8,714
Qatar Airlines - 90,000miles+ tax (there was an error and not showing tax)
Bangalore to Dubai:
Singapore Airlines - 98,000miles +INR 6,742
Qatar Airlines - 40,000miles+ INR13,729
Bangalore to Doha:
Qatar Airlines - 35,000miles+ INR12,196

Yes One way. Though your post has not clearly mentioned return, still some are good offers , some are extremely out of place. Try Turkish and United as well.Make sense
The 27,500 miles you mentioned is for one way? I have mentioned for return.
This is round trip or one way?Though the miles required is reasonable, the tax part that needs to be paid in cash is more as compared to booking using Krisflyer.

Dubai rate seems good and availability is also there for December. But route is too bad. Full 24 hours required for 40k miles.Round trip
Thanks. Did you send them an email? Also can you share a screenshot of the email. That would be really helpful 🙂I got an email from Qatar saying that Axis is also a partner on this.
I am still hesitant due to the large fees and surcharges imposed by qatar on redemption bookings, they together with BA and delta have some of the highest fees for reward bookings
You asked them explicitly and then they replied?Just got an email saying axis no longer a transfer partner for this offer with immediate effect.
