Regarding cc partial payment

Hi all,
I have made a partial payment of 400/- on cc bill out of 2505 cc bill and I already have an auto pay for my cc bill through HDFC billpay. So, it should pay remaining 2105 but it has paid total 2505. In this case, what should I do?
Will I get my 400 back. If not how to approach the problem.
Any answers would be appreciated.

That 400 will be adjusted in the next bill. If you really want to get it back into your bank account, contact the card issuing bank's customer care. But be warned about the slowness of the customer care. Usually, the next bill will be generated before you get that 400.

I regularly settle MAD (min amount due) just after bill generation, even though I configured autopay (in HDFC). That extra payment is always adjusted in the next bill (mine is ICICI CC).

So if my next bill is 1000/-, then my statement will be generated with due of only 600/-.

You can also check current (running) month cc statement just to reconfirm whether your previous payment of 400 was successful or not.
