You didn't even read the thread you mentioned, which makes me curious:

what's the point of posting that thread in this thread?

Use Google to learn about the MCC and what exclusions mean. Canara Setu is still working, but for different DCs.
I did not receive any cashback on hdfc platinum dc for payments made via canara setu, that's why warned other users here in case it does not work for kotak super dc as well.
 
Hey, I was cribbing about not getting 811 Super upgrade despite being long time customer of regular 811 account. I want to share what worked for me. As per customer care, they were telling me that Super 811 upgrade option is a promotional offer provided to those customers who are keeping zero balance and using the account rarely. It will not be given to active customers. Since that I removed all money from my account and made it zero 😀

It worked like a charm, they were not lying about it. As soon as I became a less valuable customer, within 30 days I got the option to upgrade to Super 811. If anyone still not getting upgrade option, please try this. Make your balance zero and wait 30 days. It will happen
You are just lucky coz I had the opposite experience…my friend who was actively using his 811 account with sufficient balance got Super upgrade in Nov itself.

And then I was the one with 0 balance in my account didn’t get upgrade. I thought it’s because I didn’t maintain any balance nor used the much so didn’t get upgrade option, so started using the account since then…but still no Super upgrade.

Well, I’d like to inform that I just got upgraded to 811 Super by fighting for it !! IMG_6876.webp

I wrote mail to Level-1 Grievance officer & then to Nodal Officer, but got same template reply.
Then I called to their Nodal Officer no. who connected to 811 team & they instantly agreed to convert my account to Super on call itself by sending me a link.

For all those who are wondering how to get Nodal Officer no., it’s available on their website i.e. 022-62042110
