It creates a new upi id with @kotak811 and you lose your @kotak upi id forever. I have already made that mistake.

It's quite opposite for me, my @kotak is working and @kotak811 is having an issue because till now I have tried to do 2 transaction and both the transaction failed and yesterday when I did the transaction the money got debited from the account but they weren't received at the other end. I raised the issue about it and they said it will take T+1 day to refund the amount and today morning I also got the call from kotak that my money will be refunded by tomorrow morning. So I think only one of them will work. After I get the refund I will check everytime with a small amount before trying because if it fails then the money will be stuck for 2 days.

This kotak811 app seems like in beta stage, we are getting a update every week and all of them looks major updates like UI etc.

Annual fee of 300 is mandatory to enroll in the program and yes you have to fund 5000 every month. You can withdraw immediately, no need to maintain it.

So, 811 Super with cashback benefit needs ₹5000 pm credit.

If cashback is not required we can still pay ₹300 just for the account benefits like:

• Platinum visa debit card with enhanced withdrawal 1 lac and shopping limit 3 lac (811 regular 25000 and 1 lac)
• Branch cash transactions / CDM limits upto 4 transactions or 2 lac pm (811 regular 1 transaction or 10000 pm)

Platinum debit card is free, so those who need physical debit card instead of getting the regular account can opt for 811 super.

Activated dormant account and I'm on the 811 variant. I see a banner to upgrade to super below the virtual card but I'm not interested.
