Accidental Death Cover

My friend recently died in a car accident. He has Simply save rupay platinum credit card and SBI global debit + prepaid rupay debit card. Does anyone know how much accidental death cover we can claim with these 2 credit cards. And, also any other claims we can make through sbi bank account?

for Rupay platinum, sum insured is Rs 2 lakh

go and visit branch and they will ask you to fill a form. you need to attach documents like Death Certificate, aadhar, police report etc..

I heard at least one trx should be made in last one or two months and also cash withdrawal doesn't count. Am not sure someone can correct me.

Need to read the MITC for that which comes with card packet.
