Guys,

Has anyone in this group bought anything from accor limitless experience? I tried to buy something and send to my address in Hyderabad. Also I emailed the vendor. They said that it will come from Netherlands.

I understand that I will have to pay the import fees, but what's the procedure? Will it be like when delivering at the door they will ask for payment or do I have to go anywhere to collect it?

I tried redeeming Airline rewards from their portal and it was shipped from UAE. I didnt know that i will have to pay additional taxes /duty on the electronic item as it was about $100 USD in value. Few days after i redeemed my points i got a mail from DHL that my courier has arrived and is awaiting clearance at Mumbai airport. It had detailed instructions for payment and the process was online. After completing the payment in INR, i got a confirmation and few days later the parcel was delivered to me. From a process perspective, it might be the same for ACcor as well. As far as i know you dont need to go anywhere to collect it, the courier company will guide you.

Generally, it is a one time kyc valid for one year.

You will have to submit or upload your identity proof on their website (mostly dhl) and give consent to them (authority to act as your import agent). Make sure that the id proof matches with the name of the receiver. Do not get the package shipped in any company or firm's name as it will be a big headache then.

If the sender has not paid import duty, the courier company will pay it on your behalf and then take it from you.

The process is quite seamless. Expect to receive your package in a period of 15 days from dispatch and after you have paid the charges (if applicable).

Not.if ur planning to import, if you've somebody who can bring it with hem then great
