Add-on Card HDFC regalia first credit card Different same Number

I have HDFC Regalia first credit card.
I got two add- oncards one each for mother and father.
One thing i noticed is, one of them has same number as my existing credit card whereas the other add on card has different card number. When i checked online, both are showing same number. What's wrong?

how did you apply? using physical forms or through net banking?
