Same days flights cost sometimes 25-30k domestic.

Total loot . Worst is air vistara with 50% prices higher vs others. Dunno why

Yup. So much devaluation has been going around. United just massively devalued its miles for its EU and US routes. I'm guessing they will devalue their Asia routes soon.

Yes saw a post saying after their devaluation the cost of redeeming a flight went up as high as 139%.
This would make sense if these Airlines were burning cash.
But when the demand is at peak doing this will just reduce the number of passengers using flights for domestic transfers.
Because majority of them can't afford such exorbitant prices and others would prefer rail or road as a much cheaper and viable option

The US miles game is on another level. It's so easy to earn points there using various welcome benefits that are offered with CC. This was bound to happen. Awardhacker will need a big reset lol. So many devaluations have happened lately. BA,Virgin, Etihad.

Don't know about virgin
I recently book a business class flight to London using 37500 points and 35k taxes

The ironic part is even after such exorbitant prices Airlines in India are failing and going bankrupt.
To paisa Jaa kaha raha hai
That's the nature of the Indian market. Loyalty is not a commonplace thing here. Jaha 10 rupee kam milega, log udhar chalenge.
