Airport Lounge on Add On Credit Card

Hii,

I wish to know which bank cards also extend the complimentary airport access to the Add On Card Member. So far I think BOB does. If anyone has experienced lounge access via add on card then please list the card name below. This post will be very useful for many before getting a specific credit card.

i guess all the cards have shared lounge access among primary and add-on. eg, if your card had 4 access, any swipe at the lounge on the primary or add-on would deduct from your 4. Unless otherwise stated.

still, some cards that i know:
diners privilege and black, idfc select and wealth, hdfc regalia.

Bank of Baroda Eterna gives you truly unlimited domestic lounge access to primary as well all add on credit cards 👍

Diners Black - all 4 cards (add on cards - up to 3 cards in addition to the primary card) get unlimited lounge access - both domestic and international.

in my experience, 1 access per card. earlier they used to check for names on card and boarding pass should be same, but now they don't care as long as x cards are presented for x people. though they might check if the lounge is getting overcrowded.

i have also seen someone in this community post that they have had 2 accesses on the same card at the same time by swiping it twice, but that seems very rare case.

ultimately it is at the discretion of the reception staff if they want they will stick to rules and if they lounge is empty and odd hours, they will just let you and your guest pass through by swiping 2 times without much hassle.

P.S. this is for normal cards. for cards like Magnus, they have separate access for guests (not addons) alongwith primary card holder.

What if they swipe twice and the lounge access money 'paid one' not Rs. 2 or Rs. 25 gets debited?

before entering your pin, the card machine screen will show how much amount is being charged. or i ask the receptionist to check if any complimentary visits are left or else give me back my card. but as i said, swiping twice might not always work, as many cards have terms and conditions that 1 card can be swiped only once at 1 airport in a day.

IDFC first select card works fine for shared lounge access for addon

On 1 September, I used my 3 debit cards to get access to Me, My Mother and My sister into the Lounge( Delhi). They didn't even checked the name on the card, i paid 6Rs for 3.

I didn't tried any of my cards for the second time as i had sufficient cards for lounge access(3 cards for 3 persons) 🙂

A small addition to the last point:
In magnus that guest feature of 8 times in an year applies only for international lounging

Has anybody tried Domestic Lounge Access w/ Regalia Add On Card.
