Airport Spa Experience: ODE Spa, RGIA Hyderabad

Over the years, I never got the opportunity to visit a spa at an airport particularly due to lack of time.

I got the chance yesterday to visit one. Fortunately, I managed to reach the airport a bit early, so I decided to use the spa service using the Dreamfolks card received with ICICI Bank Sapphiro Credit Card.

The spa is situated next to Gate 21 on the Domestic Departures at RGIA, Hyderabad. At the counter, the person will ask for the relevant details. Using the Dreamfolks app, I generated the QR code as I didn't carry the physical card with me.

There were 2 options: head-shoulder or a foot massage for 30 mins. I selected the former.

The guy escorted me to the spa through the lift. The spa was almost empty with hardly 2-3 people there at max.

I thought a masseuse will give me a massage, similar to the other person sitting next to me but it turned out to be a guy. 😢

The overall experience was average. I did not expect anything exceptionally special as they won't be using oil anyway. It was a dry massage and my hair were in a mess after the massage. (long hair problems 😣)

Will I be using the service again?

I personally never felt this service to be something great and having enough time to visit the spa as well as the lounge is a rarity for me. It was mostly out of curiosity as a lot of people on TF ask about airport spa experiences, so decided to give it a try.

I used both head and shoulder and foot spa few months back at Hyderabad airport with 2 swipes from idfc dreamfolks card.
It was a female person and she took full 30+30 minutes. Awesome experience. Maybe in ur case, no female was available. This was best among all.

Once I got in one of the Bangkok airport lounges. It was 15 minutes complementary head and shoulder message with priority pass (female person). That was worst among all. I was feeling more pain after spa 😅.

Recently got one swedish 60 minutes spa in one of the four fountain spa in Bangalore from Rupay select credit card benefit. It was male to male spa. But it didn't include head and foot spa. It was a full body massage with oil. I carried my own shorts, as they give very small inner wear. Overall, nice experience here as well.

I had an ayurvedic Abhyangam message using Rupay Select. Overall experience was fine. Can relate to the inner wear part. 😂
 
Conclusion: OP didn't like the service because he didn't get a massause.

Meanwhile other members reading this post getting horny

Going to Hyderabad tomorrow. Do we need special undies even for dry massage??

My DF QR code didn’t work generated from Vistara IDFC card. Had to swipe physically again. Lost one more access.

Service was good. Chose foot massage, he was generous and did it for more than 30 mins.

could you elaborate on this?

which part didn't work. the QR generation part in the DF website or the spa couldn't accept the QR?

They will match the name on boarding pass with dreamfolk card.
