I have airtel sim with monthly recharge of 299 in app it shows Unlimited 5g and 2gb 4g data per day but after exhausting 2gb. Data got stopped and not working not even able to send or receive WhatsApp msg....
Any suggestions to cure it or I have to port my sim....

Is anyone facing the same.
I am using a 5g enabled device and in my location there is no issue with 5g network.

Problem with Airtel 5G is that they're using NSA bands as of now, and that for some reason has this issue where counting of data used on 5G is tricky. Even I exhaust the data even if the phone is clearly showing 5G, and one more problem is we can't lock our phones to 5G only. I would say Jio 5G is better in giving unlimited 5G!

hey there, i know this issue

Even though I have a 5G network all the time, I still receive 50% data exhausted and 100% data exhausted alerts. After that, the so-called unlimited 5G stops working. I was confused, so I contacted customer care, and that’s when I found out about their catch— in order to use unlimited 5G, you must have at least 1MB of 4G data remaining. If your 4G data is exhausted, 5G won’t work. The frustrating part is that I never even get 4G in my area. In other words, this is not truly unlimited 5G. It’s better to switch to Jio.
