Airtel Axis Card with father’s number

Hisoka

TF Ace
Hey. As I already hold 3 Axis bank cards so for my Airtel thanks application shows not applicable.

I thought why not to try with my fathers number. And luckily the application proceeded further. I’ve few doubts, will appreciate if someone can clear it up!

1. My father’s PAN is missing so will the agent agree with PAN photocopy?

2. Do I need to pay bills through the Airtel thanks app that’s logged in through the same phone number that’s linked to card or it can work with any number?

3. If I wish to change phone number linked to that credit card with my phone number, is it possible? I already hold 3 Axis cards and me and father’s PAN are obviously different.

1. During VKYC, they ask for the original PAN card, but during offline KYC, they don't make such a demand, and personally, I have never faced this requirement. Perhaps others can clarify this further.

2. You simply need to pay through the Airtel App by adding the number or customer ID to settle the bill. This method will work with any number.

3. Yes, you can update the number anytime after approval.

Just had my father's KYC today. The agents are really strict about the PAN card being original, they just cut the call as we don't have one. Since the KYC is valid only till first half tomorrow, we can't get a new PAN as well?

Any suggestions as to what can be done here? I was thinking that if I go to branch and request for physical KYC then they might agree. Other's inputs will be highly valuable. Thank you!

You shouldn't have proceeded with VKYC after I warned you that they would ask for the original PAN Card. Now, I could be mistaken, but if you fail to complete the verification within the given timeframe, they will likely reject your application. Alternatively, they may call you and provide an opportunity to request physical KYC. If you had not completed the VKYC, they would have contacted you anyway to complete the KYC process. I had a similar experience when technical difficulties prevented me from completing VKYC, and they eventually called me to complete physical KYC. Now, you can let the KYC link expire, or you can visit your local branch and explain that you are facing issues with VKYC and would like to proceed with physical KYC. They might be able to advise you on how to handle this matter.

Warn kab kiya bro aapne 😂
You just said that you haven't experienced this issue before. But I can't risk KYC being expired, will just visit the branch and request them for physical KYC

Pehle thik se padho maine kya bola hai 🤣

VKYC main mangta hai original PAN lekin physical KYC jab hota hai sirf PAN ka number agent ko dene se kaam ho jata hai

Other issue experience nahi kiya matlab kabhi kisi ne offline main mujhse PAN maanga nahi lekin agar koi forum member aise kuch experience kiya hai he/she is more than welcome to share their experience.

Got it. I knew that they might not agree but still wanted to give it a shot
Anyway reject kar diya toh mummy ke number se apply kar denge 🥹

One CIBIL hit doesn't hurt much

I have applied the Airtel Axis Credit Card with my father's mobile number using his airtel thanks app.
I received the card today and successful activated net banking.
I didn't get option to update mobile number in axis net banking so I installed Axis Bank app and tried to update mobile number.
I got success but still unable to use Axis Mobile app with my mobile number (I don't have axis saving account).
Even the OTP is also going to father's mobile number.

Now what to do as I called customer care but after entering card number it asked for PIN. And it said I am entering wrong pin 😞. I cahnged the pin 3 time but it sucks.

Any

My Airtel connection is in one number (Airtel), and my Airtel axis card is in another number (Vodafone).

If I login to the Airtel Thanks app through my Vodafone number (one linked to my Airtel Axis card), and then pay my Airtel broadband, prepaid, postpaid, etc (linked to other numbers?), will I get 25% cashback (Airtel bills) & 10% cashback (for other bills)?

You simply need to make the payment through the Airtel Thanks App, regardless of the number or SIM you are using. 😁
