Airtel Black Payment

Hi,

I have been using Airtel black for broadband and dth connection. However, since inception I'm unable to pay the bill through any other third party apps. I do it through Airtel app only which doesn't give any cashback. Kindly tell any method for getting cashback for Airtel black plan.

Additionally, I recently got to know about Airtel Axis Bank Credit Card which gives 25% off on Airtel payments does it apply to Airtel black as well?

Yes axis airtel card will give 25% cashback on Airtel black bill (max 250).

Have read a fellow member experience where they have marked Black payment as utility(10%). Are you sure of 25%?

Yes I have been using Airtel Black with Airtel Axis Bank CC with a monthly bill of INR 1600+ and used to get consistent INR 300 before devaluation and getting INR 250 CB currently without any issues.
The only issue with Airtel Axis is getting 10% on Swiggy and Zomato.

Thanks for the update. Just an add-on query in case you have any idea about it -Actuall planning to opt for black plan, where they are asking for advance payment of INR 3300(for installation waiver), so can that be taken care with airtel axis card with 25% benefit?

If the payment can be done on Airtel App then I think you will be eligible for 25%.
Whenever you pay for there is 25% off using Airtel Axis CC written in the top banner/carousel along with other offers and sometimes there is option to apply as well and it shows 250 rs Cashback eligible

Well, there is no carousel on black payment page while the same can be seen on other bill payment options.

You are going through the generic route with which you can pay anyone's bill.
Once you have an active airtel black subscription and the bill is generated and get the pay now option directly in the app without the need to enter any id you will see the offer of 25%.

By going through this method you might be at risk because then airtel will think that you have done normal utility transaction and give CB at 10%.

25% is only when you pay for bills and recharged linked to your airtel thanks app. Like in the screenshot below I am showing you for a prepaid recharge for mobile number linked to my Airtel Thanks app.

Sorry currently my bill isn't due so I am not able to show you how it looks for Airtel Black but its the same for that as well.

You will only get 1% cashback for 3300 for the Airtel black initial payment, I subscribed to black recently and used Airtel Axis Card to pay this 3300. ( I have initiated the payment through the Airtel Thanks App, but it redirected to a different screen from the app in the last step for payment )

I think 25% is applicable for future Black bill payments.

Update:
I called customer care and asked for a refund. They did it within 1.5 hours of the call.

PS: The Priority support for Airtel Black customers is great.

I have a ₹1900 bill and I'd like to pay ₹1000 using my Airtel Axis card to get the 25% cashback benefit (up to ₹250), and the remaining amount using my dad's Airtel Axis card to get another 25% cashback benefit. No, I don't think it is possible. There is no option to edit the payable amount in Airtel App.

Using amazon pay, once airtel black bill is generated for 1885/-. First, I pay my bill using postpaid mobile number 885/- and rest 1000/- from Axis airtel. I used this method from last 3-4 months but today it is not working. I will wait for 2-3 days more, if it will work for this month.

You cannot pay for airtel black bill via Amazon pay app. You can only pay airtel black bills through airtel app, choosing amazon pay wallet maybe an option.

Raise complaint, they will refund. It happened with me also but got refund
