Am I being a snowflake or is the customer service very rushed?

Platinum Travel card here, I do not know if the charge cards have better service. What I encounter is that the agents, while they are very articulate and knowledgeable, they are too rushed in their dealings. I know all customer care executives are judged on metrics like time spent per call etc, but I found Amex CC to be too eager to get me off the line. I am not senile by any means, but I do need some breathing space to gather my thoughts and frame my queries when I have multiple doubts on a matter. But these agents seem to want us to be as quick as they are, which is not done, because they do this for a living and I don't.

i have always experienced good service and clear communication.. maybe an off day for the rep..

Having Plat Travel myself, i found Amex cc to be most courteous and thorough ,they call back even if call gets disconnected, i always get plenty of time put out my queries and they've almost always solved my issues(except once)
 
I always had the different experience from you. They took time and listened to me. Once I was enquiring about an offer on Sony cause I wanted to buy some playstation accessories and the executive had a conversation for 3-4 minutes with me about how he is planning to get the PS5 too and what are the games he is looking to play.
