amazon gift card voucher on amex plat vs infinia

i have an Amex Platinum charge card and also an HDFC Infinia, since i got the amex plat card one year ago i dont use the infinia much... however when i tried to buy a Rs 5000 with amex points, it showed 22000 would be used, however in my Infinia card, i can buy a Rs 5000 amazon gift voucher just fiir 10000 points. So my question is , given that my cc spends are nearly 2 l per month, does it make more sense to use amex plat for mist of them or should i use Infinia? also is the reward rate for general purchases better inn Infinia or Amex platinum charge card? thanks in advance

I want to keep the plat charge card for lounge access in india and overseas and also for "aspirational value"....i am a small town guy who has always dreamt of owning the platinum card..🙂 ..
Unlimited lounge access is already provided by Infinia. I see no logic in using Amex over Infinia. I have both and rarely use Amex.

Amex Platinum card is for hotel memberships and free event invites and ofcourse the Centurion lounges. If you value these above 70.2k per annum, keep the charge card.

But.. use Infinia 5x for expenses - Infinia will sponsor your Amex fees 🙂

I use AMEX platinum charge card only for 2 things: Marriott Bonvoy Gold and Centurian Lounges. I transfer rewards points to Marriott whenever there's a 30% extra offer.

Is there any other way to redeem points for a better value? Also, do they waive the fee for the Platinum charge card? They did it easily for Platinum Reserve for the last 5 years.
