Hi,
Today I received a notification from imobile. It mentioned "Spend ₹75,000 in your Amazon Pay ICICI Credit Card and get 1 complementary airport lounge access next quarter".

I think they added amazon pay card to the list of cards in icici portfolio having lounge access. Though that list I checked now doesn't have amazon pay card mentioned but here is a TnC downloaded from the notification which explicitly mentions about amazon pay icici credit card.

That's a nice revaluation and update to the card. Though spend limits are high, a small % of people will definitely meet this and from that, a small % of people will use the facility.
Considering the huge number of Amazon pay cards issued, brace ourselves for a big crowd and waiting lines in front of the lounges again.
Lounge crowd is not going away anytime soon.

I doubt it would have noticiable impact as for someone spending 75K quarterly would most probably already have a card which provides louge access.

I mean even if people have higher variant card, IF someone spends 75k on Apay, it gives one more option for lounge access. The % or number of people may be very less. But some takers will be there.

Those who spend 75k per quarter may be eligible for premium cards. There are people who are happy with just 1 or 2 cards. I personally know a family friend who had just 1 card (citi) for several years (and had a CIBIL of over 800). Don't know if he converted to axis or switched to another. Some people want to keep things simple. Certainly not me, though, as can be seen from this long reply. 🤣

It's a one time 'offer' and not a addition to the card feature, Perhaps ICICI is testing the waters and also you need to be a Amazon Prime member ( Which I guess most of them are) to avail this one time offer
