Amazon voucher from smartbuy for upi if payment

I have few paymets to do to a seller. Seller has sent me a QR code.

I went to Smartbuy portal and purchased Amazon pay voucher and added it to amazon app.

From amazon app when i select the QR code , it show amazon wallet balance is still 0.

The voucher was added successfully as i can see the right balance but only for QR code payments it does not allow.

Is it not possible to use amazon pay balance for QR code based payments ?
