Amex Bonus Points on Insurance Spends

Few mins back I received an offer regarding 5 MR on every 100 spent on my Amex Platinum Travel Card after enrolling on the given link.

Does the offer get activated instantly or is there some time period I need to wait before making an insurance payment?

New to Amex so any assistance will be appreciated. 🙂

you'll need to activate it for your card first. Click on the link in the mail and add the card details which you'll be using to make the payments

I have enrolled on the link and received a confirmation mail. So, do I need to wait or can I proceed immediately in case I need to make an insurance payment?

the confirmation mail says they might contact you if more details are req, so better wait for a day or two to be sure!

I am waiting for my Platinum travel card to get delivered. Can tell what is the for this year? (Also, if i am not wrong Plat Travel doesn't offer MR for insurance spends, right?
