Amex Plat Travel 4L Milestone Reaching in 2 Months, What`s Next?

Hello,

As the title says, about to complete my 4L milestone for Amex Platinum Travel in just 2 month (1k pending to reach it full 4L). I have spent it mostly on physical gold purchase and kids school fee. Both times didn`t have to pay any extra. As of now reached 37k reward points.

My questions -

- Holding to reach 4L as don`t need the Taj Voucher immediately, can I ask them to send me at later date (4 months later)?
- Is there any additional card I can get to accumulate more points, have another 3L planned in this year.
- Do Amex offer any annual fee waiver in case I request for more spends offer?

- What`s best scenario for me? What other cards I can consider? Please suggest.

The process is automated, you can however request for a short validity extension from them for your voucher.

Unfortunately Amex is not accepting new applications right now, so you cannot go for another card.

No, 4L+ is as good as 4L spends, nothing significant benefit. You'll get to know about the fee waiver or other options towards the end of the annual cycle of your card.

Till new applications for Amex resumes you need to contend with other options.

Atlas is a good option (with min 3 lac spends annually) but only useful for Airmiles transfer snd Accor redemption. Kiwi CC (For UPI till 1,50,000/-) is also a good option.

You can also keep it to buy vouchers at 3x from gyftr, also they do send spend based offers.
