Amex Plat Travel Card Membership fee offers

Recently, I spoke with Amex customer care to check if there were any offers on the annual fee, but they said there are no offers available for this year.
Has anyone else come across the same response from Amex customer care?”

Same here. There are no renewal options anymore this year atleast since August

They have stopped the retention offer now. It's next to impossible now to get fee waiver on amex cards.

True. Me and a lot of my friends who renewed the plat travel - no retention offers and we all had to pay full annual fee.

Yesterday I too called up and also chatted with them no spend based offers or 50% fee waiver or full waiver too this year... they say in transition for what no idea with them... but they declined this year to waiver of spend based or 50% fee. I think this will be my last year of having tral plat as I already spent some 70k on it so will take the benefit and keep it locked and next renewal will close it or before that... I have mrcc close to achieving milestone for fee waiver. Have gold chg even this devalued fuel mr no more from last year may close this plat chg will use this year and have to check.... to close next year..... not sure which one to keep now 5yrs up using them let us see.... feb 8th 2026 is gold chg card renewal if they don't waiver or provide anything then may close it...
