Amex Plat Travel to Plat Charge Metal

Hello everyone, hope you're all doing well and had a lovely weekend.

I’m considering upgrading my Plat Travel to the Plat Charge card under the 1,50,000 MR upgrade offer and would love to get your advice on a few points. Here are my main questions:

1. If I spend 4L on my Plat Travel card before the 28th of February deadline (offer expiry), will I receive the points as per the Plat Travel card’s earning structure?
2. Once I’ve received the points from the 4L spend, can I upgrade to the Plat Charge card and merge the total MR points from both cards?
3. After completing the first year with the Plat Charge card, is it possible to downgrade back to the Plat Travel card or do I have to cancel?

I’d really appreciate any insights or experiences you might have on this!
