How many days it normally takes for Amex to credit referral bonus. It's been a month I don't see any MR on my account. My referral got the card and using the card for almost a month now.

As soon as the card is approved, you should get referral benefits.
You can chat with Amex CS and check.
I did. They said it can take upto 90 days.

Strange... I've read that it always gets credited immediately and that's been the case for me too.
Guess wait for 90 days and if not then chat with them again.

Correct. Happened to me recently.
You can check by sharing the ARN to customer care and asking if it was done using your referral @Hell_Kitty.

Be careful just a few months back Amex was giving 2000 + 4000 points to the new member.
So EARLIER the old member was getting 8000 referral points and the new member was getting 6000 points, after spending 15000 or 10000 in 90 days.
Now they have taken away the 4000 points from the new member and giving it as extra 4000 referral bonus points to the referring old member.
So NOW the old member will get 12000 referral points and the new member will get only 2000 points, after spending 15000 or 10000 in 90 days
This is one of the main reasons why it's becoming increasingly difficult to sell Amex cards to new members, using the member get member scheme.
The returns for new members have dropped significantly with 4000 less points.
