AmEx Support says for SmartEarn 10X rewards combined for Zomato + Preferred Merchants capped all together at 500 points

I received 500 points for Zomato and 250 for Amazon this month.
However, on shopping on Myntra, I did not receive 10X rewards. AmEx support told me that capping of 500 points is for all 10X partners combined including Zomato.

What kind of nonsense are they stooping to? Why does their website then say you can earn 1250 points by spending Rs. 7500? Even the footnotes on the card page states separate things.

None of the support folks were helpful and every single person failed to understand their own terms. People in the community who still use SE, please check your statements and let me know if you're facing the same issue?
 
That's puzzling. See my spends for this month. I actually did receive 10X (500) for Zomato, 10X (500) for Nykaa+Myntra+Flipkart and 5X (250) for Amazon. There must be some kind of a communication issue here, because the reward system seems to be working exactly as AMEX claims it should.

thanks for confirming this! they told me to wait till end of the month and said its a technical issue
