amex without renewal fees: t&c ??

i just saw this on my Amazon app.
there is a small asterisk near the no renewal fees line, but did not find any t&c even after clicking the banner.
any idea about what is it?

It's the smartearn card which has fee waiver on spends above 40k in a year or something around that mark.

okay i just found that and it is just normal spend based waiver...

so it is just like hdfc offering lifetime free* card which was free as long as one spent x lakhs in preceding year.

dcb. may be others also. doesn't matter as it was not a true ltf but spend based anyway, which is applicable to almost all cards. see screenshots in this post:
