HDFC concierge sent me this a while back and my brother-in-law took this offer and went through it.
The website lists the Villa he stayed at 1.3L with breakfast, he paid 299 USD without breakfast.
Sounds too good to be true? Maybe or Maybe not
So the catch is, Anantara Vacation Club are targeting <supposedly> high value individuals in South east asia and middle east by including this tiny clause in this big 3 page document

Neither of us actually bothered to read this bit and the HDFC concierge team comfortably forgot to mention this.

Apparently according to him, the presentation lasts for 4 hours. They sell timeshare for 20 or 25 years like our Club Mahindra, and given he travelled with his kid and his wife, he got pissed.
Worst part is when he declined outright on day 1, they turned hostile and they didn't treat them well for the rest of the stay.
Anyway, the positive from this story which he mentioned was,
"If you travel as a couple and show some interest and can put up with a sales person for 1-2 hours a day spread across either breakfast and dinner or lunch/breakfast, they let you be in peace for rest of the day"
Question is, Is 2 hours per day for 4 days worth 1L to spend in an awesome Pool Villa?
