Any one saves tax via section 10(14) i and ii

Does any one save tax by updating amounts in section 10(14) i and ii.

I could, for instance, on allownace (DA/TA) given for business travel, but my employer doesn't add that in my salary.

Is there any limit for claiming. I see my payslip has 1600 conveyance allowance n I see it can be claimed under section 10(14) ii personal expenses for commute to work n home but also the standard deduction was brought in to replace this right?

So is it still possible to claim the conveyance allowance under this section
