Any use of Airtel Money Wallet?

I am planning to re-activate my dormant and probably closed Airtel Wallet using these steps. (Twitter- Airtel Money URL).

As Airtel PB has replaced Paytm PB, I intend to use Airtel NCMC and if they allow Airtel Wallet to NCMC then it would be good.

According to you-
1. Do they reactivate old wallet account per their own response?
2. Is the use case valid?
3. Can we load Airtel Wallet using Credit Card?

As there were no new discussion threads on Airtel Wallet hence created this.

@TheGuy haven't used their NCMC card, but quick google shows bad rep with general people. 1 Reddit ost says that you have to validate each and every recharge over phone (which is not good).

Airtel payment bank charges are more than charge queen axis bank.

Think twice before opening

I agree, but we can just ask to opt-out of them (have been charged for last quarter). I do not use their virtual card and only want it for UPI (got 0MAB offer on whatsapp which I confirmed over mail along with opting out of all 4 services).

You converted Wallet into Savings Account? Voluntarily or had to?
I had wallet which was not being used anyway, as I got 0MAB offer on WhatsApp, I chose to convert it to Savings Acc as wallet was of no use and if it would have been blocked, then getting anything else from Airtel in future would have been an issue...

Thank you for taking effort. I will look into this.
Aah, no worries, I just searched and it was on the first page (G thinks I trust Redit more than random pages, which is true)

What did you opt out of and how?
Charges are mentioned here: https://www.technofino.in/community/threads/airtel-payments-bank-yearly-charges-updated.28851/

I just mailed them that I do not use DC and do not see the need of getting sms for every credit sms and so, opt me out of them.
