Anybody have booked hotel through IRCTC? what is your experience?

I am planning to book hotel through IRCTC as I found it cheaper...
Whether IRCTC is reliable I mean whether the hotel will deny the booking etc?
Does anybody have any experiences?

Are you talking about the dormitory or ac/non-ac rooms available nearby stations?

If yes, then yeah. Book online, no issues. Only hiccup is timing: 08 am to 08 pm
