Anyone faced this issue while applying for ICICI cards?

I already have an Amazon pay card and wanted to apply for an LTF card for ICICI offers.

But when I proceed with aadhaar/PAN authentication it says there is a name mismatch and tells me to contact the branch.
Actually my name in aadhar has initials while PAN has the expanded one (it doesn't allow Initials). This could be the reason.

Never faced this issue while applying to any other bank's credit cards.

Any suggestions (other than visiting the branch) regarding this issue would be highly appreciated. Thank you.

Just send the DM to ICICI Bank Cares twitter handle that you want to upgrade your card to Platinum LTF card or whatever card you want. Don't mention that its Apay card.

Mention your card's last 4 digit & your mobile no. They'll call you next day and take the request for Platinum LTF card.

Nope. ICICI doesn't cancel your old card on upgrade. You've to manually ask for it if you want.

I got my ICICI Platinum card this way.
After contacting them on Twitter they called me the same and gave me two choices : LTF Platinum or Chargeable Coral. I took Platinum

I faced the same issue and sent a message via twitter and got platinum & coral rupay card

After I applied for Sapphiro LTF under Alumni program they cancelled the platinum one. I was like okay 😁
