I have recently opened hdfc activ Current account...Recieved welcome kit on email with customer id. Then I tried hard to register for netbanking from past 3 days using that customer id but unable to register.
Then I go branch & asked them that I am unable to register for Netbanking. Then they checked details in their system(computer) and gave me 2nd customer id. He said try to register with this customer id... and Yes it works! I successfully registered.
When I asked him why are you giving me this second customer id, he said for Current account holders, there are two customer ids. Second customer id can only be used for netbanking login purposes.
My Question is that is it true for every Current account holders? Do you guys have two customer ids??
