Applying for ace credit card

I recently got an Axis Bank Neo credit card about 1.5 months ago. I'm interested in applying for the Axis Bank Ace credit card. However, when attempting to apply through Google Pay, I received a message advising me to apply via the Axis Bank website because of my existing relationship with the axis bank.

I have a CIBIL score of 776 and wanted to inquire whether it's okay to proceed with the Ace card application now or if it might be better to wait for a while before applying. I want to ensure the timing is appropriate.

Did you calculated the benefits it offered for your spends, including annual fee either by spending 2L or paying 590rs.?

Ex: 5% limit to 10k spends per month (500)

lets say, you utilized fully every month:

1.2L per year and 6000rs as cashback.

Paid 590 annual fee.

then, return % = 4.5%

If by chance you spend outside for 80k.

return % = 3.8%

Note: Above magical figurs can only be achieved if you fully utilize 5% limit every month otherwise its way less.

I'm okay with paying annual fee. My main expenses are utility bills and all other purchases will be offline.

I picked this card mainly because of 2% cashback on offline spends. My monthly spends will be average 5k per month. Might go above 10k if there electricity bill in that month.

Can you recommend any other card for offline and utility bill payments?. LTF if possible.

I have amazon cc for amazon purchases. 2% for bills way low compared to axis ace.

Just calculate once with your spends and see actual numbers you're getting.

For me based on your spends amzn 2% is higher if I include only billpay option.

Let's say 5k bills, 5k on 2% category.

60k on 5% = 3000
60k on 2% = 1200

and you have to pay 590 due to 1.2L spends.

Return % = 3%

Note: Above spends if you do every month, not like if that month has electricity bill.

Asper calculation. Here it is for ace

25k electricity bill on 5% = 1250
10k broadband bill on 5% = 500
30k offline spends on 2% = 600

And adding annual fee of 590 total cashback will be 1760 around 2.7% return

With amazon cc

25k electricity bill on 2% = 500
10k broadband bill on 2% = 200
30k offline spends on 1% = 300

Return cashback will be 1000rs amazon pay balance. Around 1.5% return.

My main focus to move my utility bills and offline spends to a card with good cashbacks.
I haven't added other online spends here.

Electricity bill always inbetween 4k-5k for 2 months. Fiber internet 830/m including taxes.
Offline spends may vary per month. If i go out i use card more often.

I don't have any rupay cc so i use card always, direct cash transactions are rare.

If you can recommend me any other good card based on my above spends then it would be great. I have amazon cc LTF, federal cc LTF, hdfc moneyback+ paid. (Waived off on 50k) and axis neo LTF.

I was using moneyback+ card to pay electricity bills till now. Gets around 3.3% if i pay through amazon. And uses same card for Flipkart and sometimes offline. Only amazon cc has 1% for offline spends.

Airtel axis cc

Airtel axis cc
Would be great choice if it had more than 1% for offline purchases. Also i don't use any airtel products or services to make full use of it.

I use bsnl fiber + landline, so can't change. Airtel coverage is not good, so using Jio.

Suggestions depends on your profile like whether you can get that card or not, based on your existing card you're looking for something in basic cards where you can easily apply and get approval.

Based on that, not sure again depends on your eligibility check TataNue Infinity, or your ace card will do good with above calculation.

Anyway, since you got the realistic cashback that you're getting with Ace, if you're ok - apply and see for a year which I belive mostly FYF.

Btw, airtel for non-airtel bills if that app supports, you'll get 10%, so check in that point of view but I think you mostly exhaust if bills higher than 3k.

Amzn accelarated cards will do good but not available for cashback.

TataNeu infinity might not suitable for me considering 1499 annual charge. Return after cashbacks will be really low.

Also regarding airtel credit card. Do you know if the cashback is credited to the credit card or instant discount?

Should i wait for axis ace incase if i want to apply?. Because i received axis neo 1 and half months ago.

You recently got neo cc than wait for 3 4 months it's the cooldown period of axis. You have to wait atleast 3 months before applying for another axis card

You can't get it from Gpay if your e-mail address or Phone number is in Axis's database. (If you already have a credit card from Axis). Don't apply through Axis website as post probably they won't offer you axis ace credit card. The best option is getting it via credit card upgrade from Axis app / Website. But for this you have to wait 6 months from the issuance of your first axis credit card. And keep using that card judiciously.

In short keep using your existing axis credit card and keep looking in offer page of axis app.

Ace card got approved on march 30th and an LE. While holding round 3 month old neo card.

I have received Neo last week
if I use it on utility for the first time do I get 300 worth cb + 5% cb on first ever utility bill payment?
5% on amazon is instant discount, only need to pay the rest of the amount. You will get 300rs cashback to your cc statement if the bill is also above 300rs (100% of the bill).

I am unable to use my axis Neo cc to pay utility bill on Amazon whenever I mention my cvv on next screen it goes to payment pending instead of going to bank page for OTP submission....
Customer care is saying no error found what should I do....?
