This method doesn't always work... not sure about Int. but in domestic sometimes they don't allow. Last time they asked to see the card holder's name along with the QR and didn't allow my guest to enter.

Does not work at all places all the time. Worked once for my wife at Kochi airport. At the Adani lounge in Mumbai, worked one time for my brother and did not work the 2nd time. Depends on the staff sitting at the kiosk and your negotiation as well.

Yes, if your card has guest access to the International Lounge.
One card cannot be swiped thrice minimum of 2 Hrs Gap is required in between. So, guest access is a must, or get an add-on card.

Nowadays Lounges are becoming very strict they are always asking for the cardholder to be present. Previously I used to give my access to my friends in need but now they are not able to enter without me being present.
