I applied for an Axis Ace credit card through the web site. after submitting the details

I got these two SMS:

I have been out of my state for some months. I already have a savings account with Axis. I have a Flipkart Axis Bank credit card as well.

So will they visit for offline KYC or for address verification?

Biometric verification will be there. Axis credit card team will send executive to your current location if you request them.

They can send their agent for physical KYC wherever u are. Before Physical KYC they ask the location where you they will send agent

Ask them to provide VKYC option. Usually nowadays banks give VKYC option and physical KYC is opted when there is any issue

Usually they will do physical KYC even if you complete video KYC especially for ACE/Airtel card. However person to person case will be different, we can't predict.

Last year Axis agent came for biometric verification to my another location (not my residential).
Next day Card got approved without any income proof.

My case it is pending for 8days. Once they called and I was busy but now it is lost somewhere. Customer care has no clue.

No. I called customer care. They just created one service request. Complained on twitter. Same they created another SR!! But application stays there and no one even calling. I even told them to delete but they say we can't. Cannot put fresh CC application either as it simply doesn't proceed saying you recently applied for card!! Stalemate

Finally today got call to send executive to my place and came within 30mins of my agreeing and he completed biometric and now I see one add on credit card application request completed in app!! Though I don't have a card yet.

Today I got a decline mail and message from Axis though it met all criteria of Atlas. I think accha hai. Cannot trust Axis when they will devalue whatever little remains.
