I recently opened Priority Savings account with Axis bank. I have just joined work and I still don't have any salary slip, should I apply for a card on C2C basis or wait to get pre approved offers from Axis, If so would opening an FD or doing transaction with my Axis debit card help?

It entirely depends on how desperate you are and which card you are looking for. If you are willing to wait, you will start receiving pre-approved offers soon. Using the account as your primary account and making regular transactions is more than enough. Opening a fixed deposit can also help improve your relationship with them.

wait for sometime you will receive offers in your portal

Wait have more than 20 transactions / month. Open FD. Have better holding fund.. You will receive LTF CC offer .
I too Priority account holder. Received LTF CC offers. Since I had LTF HDFC Regalia & ICICI Sapphiro Dual card, declined the offer....
