Hello Esteemed Members
I had queries on Axis Bank Family Banking.

History

I am the main account holder, I have Axis Burgundy Salary Account.

I had opened My mother and My Wife's Burgundy account.

Today I merged all 3 accounts using Axis app to Family account.

Queries

1. The term used is Burgundy Private Family account. I don't meet the criteria for Private. I am assuming Private as in private family.
Please could someone let me know.

2. What are the benefits for Burgundy Family.

3. How does Edge points earning and redeeming work with family account.

4. Would our transfer limit be 2 Lakh per person or Combined?

5. Only me and my wife have Axis Magnus for Burgundy and my mother doesn't have a credit card yet although her account is Burgundy Magnus, can I apply for a Axis Magnus for Burgundy credit card for her?

So family banking linking worked thru mobile app or physical form?
To be in family banking, members account can be any account variant ?

I have axis priority acc , to add spouse it only allows to create liberty and above variant.
Easy access variant says not available for my location (bangalore).
But bank guys are telling to open prestige and above variant for later auto upgradation to priority family banking.
As per t&c: Easy Access Savings / Easy Access Prime /Prestige Savings Account /Women's Savings Account /Senior Privilege A/c is allowed for priority auto upgradation.

Axis Burgundy and Axis Magnus Burgundy are two different accounts.

Axis Burgundy criteria is 10L MAB per month while the criteria to get the Magnus card is way higher.
Also, these days, the Magnus card comes with 30K fees per annum.

The benefits of Burgundy remain the same even in the Family Burgundy, just that your entire family can enjoy these perks instead of just you.

The edge points remain separate and everything else works separately, it's just the Burgundy status that is combined among all of them.
