That one time my mail blew up inside Axis, and the BM called me to save herself from danger ☠️

I still have not received the burgundy multi-currency forex card. Let me know if anyone has it.
Does even the card exist?

My RM says that it is difficult to get a Burgundy Multi Forex Card as it is not available in most of the branches, not even in the "richest Axis branch in India - Galleria Mall GGN" and "NRI specific branch - golf course GGN". It takes more than a month to get the card. Who knows!

Everywhere in Burgundy account details of Axis Bank website says that Burgundy account dc and select cc with multi currency card is free but i didn’t heard anyone using multi card for forex from Burgundy account
As usual its Axis Bank

Fikar not...till the time one gets it, it might already be devalued into oblivion

with axis, the speed of devaluation >>> the speed of service

Did they wave off the fees for the normal forex card?
Haven't checked yet, it's been a while now. When I applied for the multicurrency I applied via my Prestige Account instead of Burgundy Account thinking.
Better talk to your RM and confirm it via email with the features.

What's the advantage of Burgundy forex card over a regular one? May be I'm looking incorrectly but I couldn't find a page on Axis Bank explaining the differences.
1. card issuance, reload, and encashment fee waivers
2. 6 global ATM transaction fee waivers in a year.
You can negotiate for a better conversion rate for a big reload.

I was getting this burgundy forex card option online, so ordered this online on 18th.

Paid the minimal 1USD plus 45 gst just to get the card. Conversion rate was better than usual due to burgundy account. Still about 1% higher than google rates though.

Application approved on 19th, card was shipped on 20th, delivered on 21st and activation request was done via call on 22nd. No documents asked apart from passport number and passport file number and that they verified digitally.

Even though it was online application and courier delivery, I got a non personalized card with "BURGUNDY CHIP" embossed instead of my name. Have asked customer care to send another card with my name, but I doubt if they will agree.

Don't see much usefulness though here, as it can be loaded only via savings account and there is 3.5% Cross currency markup. Took it just for collection😂.

45 or 0.18%, whichever is higher and 1% extra on Google rate.

About 3.5%, yeah it's Cross currency markup.
