Axis Credit Card - Bank Representative Delhi NCR - My Reserve experience

Hi all, I already held a Magnus Credit Card since March 2022 and decided in Apr/May 2023 that it was time to apply for Reserve. I was sceptical of applying online due to my bad experience of having done for Vistara Infinite in Dec 2022 when even after being a Magnus holder, my application did not move any further and was deleted after a month. On checking subsequently, I was told that documents had not been collected. They had no response to my question that no one from Bank had reached out to even ask for any documentation.

I have been a Citigold customer and with the recent changeover in bank’s management to Axis, I reached out to my Citi Relationship Manager (who had now converted to Axis post takeover) and expressed my intent to take Reserve Credit Card. I also told him about my previous experience and therefore wanted him to appoint someone who can track application personally.

Voila…Enter Bobby Kumar (+91 75319 25524 and +91 88266 17372) in the picture.

Bobby helped ensure that my application process was really quick and smooth. He came to my office personally and logged in the application digitally using his mobile. Post that, he would give me updates regularly and coordinated with the back end team to ensure that my card was delivered within 6-7 working days. After getting my card, I got an add-on card for my wife as well through Bobby. In case anyone from Delhi NCR is interested in applying for an Axis Credit Card, please feel free to contact Bobby.

Oh i miss Citi, the gold standard in customer support :😢
For 10 years i kept a Citi card just because of their customer support. In 2017 i faced a credit card hack at 12 night while i was sleeping (and how to react to a fraud transaction was very unknown in those days), Citi customer support guided me and ensured he had everything filed. He also educated me on what else i can do to avoid any more damage, and how i should contact merchants and highlight that this is a fraudulent transaction with a copy of police FIR to make fund recovery quicker. It's 2023 and i still feel grateful to that guy who did his job well while doing his graveyard shift.
When Citi decided to move out, i decided to move out too. I feared Axis would spoil the amazing 10 years i had with Citi. Watching the red logo outside the blue offices of Citi was heartbreaking.

In Citi i still trust, because Citi never sleeps indeed.

Your fears were right, Citi customer care has been brought to Axis levels. I called Citi and asked for renewal benefits of my Prestige card and to my surprise they said they will call back in 48 hours. I was so shocked. This was a stupid Axis CC team member and they don't know anything about customer service. I never received that call
