Axis Credit Card Upgrade Related - Query & Discussion

hi to all folks in the wonderful community, holding an axis rewards paid cc and neo rupay ltf, axis is offerering upgrades for now., only myzone is ltf, rest every other card is paid one. So what are your suggestions, if any upgrades should be taken, like going on with paid cards., or any other.,. Been thinking to close mine rewards cc as not been able to utilize it much and renewal is near, and doesn't seems so, that axis would be considering it to make it as ltf.

Axis hardly makes any card LTF on closure requests. There is no retention team, so be careful.

The card depends on your usage and requirements. What are your expectations?

Rewards fees doesn't justifies the card, using HDFC as the primary ones, so will close it down only.

Take MyZone LTF and close the other 2 cards.
Even if you use the cards only during the instant discount offers MyZone will be more beneficial than Neo.

Call customer care and tell them you want to close Rewards CC. They will offer 2500 points for retention. Take points and once you utilise those points, close the card.

P.S. 2500 points are given only once/customer in last 12 months.

Recently I managed to acquire Axis Atlas card on LTF basis with my new Burgundy salary account.

I joined a new company last month and came to know that my company has a tie up with Axis and I can get Burgundy salary account with >2L monthly net salary

I applied for the same on condition that I should be issued with LTF Atlas. The corporate RM assured me the same.

As promised, he sent someone to my office for biometrics and the process went super smooth. I received my card today.

I was still skeptical whether the card is really issued on LTF basis, but as I checked the...

Before, also try to get that in writing if they don't fulfill the condition you will close your account.
Yes, but depends on the branch people.
