Axis Magnus - confused with application decline

I have two axis bank cards but don’t have an axis account. I applied for Axis Magnus but got a declined message against some other application number which I’m unable to understand. My application ended with 2435 but I got a decline message against application ending with 1261. How is this possible? Did anyone here face a similar problem?

Do we need an axis account to be eligible?

Yes there are two reference numbers in axis application one starts with C1 and other is normal 9 digit number .

Axis magnus is big task to get , mine got rejected once , now have Applied second time on 5th oct , still the application is in processing stage only .
U can check ur application status on its webiste . Just google axis credit card application status .
