Axis Magnus with low credit limit on other card

This is regarding a card in the name of my wife. She already has a vistara infinite and flipkart with a limit of 2.5L (both are now 5 months old) additionally she has a rbl card with same limit against which the Axis cards were approved. I want to apply for a magnus and the limit on Axis for which has to be more than 3L and for other cards it has to be above 4L.I do not have any of the above.Also, the ITR is also not as high as required.So I was thinking to apply for a new card against FD with a limit of more than 5L and use it for 6 odd months post which I can apply for a magnus against the statement.As currently Axis is not allowing me to upgrade limit nor upgrade to Magnus on current cards.Please share your views or any alternative methods please advise.

This idea for an FD card would work. Alternatively you can apply for a Kotak or an ICICI credit card, as they known for providing LE in short period of time. Also you can open a new higher variant account in any bank that is willing to provide a pre approved card with a higher limit.
