Axis statement not generated past 40days

I recently received Axis select & it been almost 38th day today & Statement for same has not been generated. Contacted customer support & all they said was "it will generate when it's time" tf even that means.

Contacted another support he said that's because select has 90days interest free period & you don't have to worry. I'm unable to verify this info anywhere neither my RM can verify this claim @Technofino123

In a dilemma should I wait for the statment or should I pay up my outstanding? Any input from community will be appreciated

Don't worry. Its normal. My father's Axis Ace's first statement was also generated 2 months later. When it did not generate in the first month, I called the customer care. They told me that sometimes, the successful card delivery status is updated late in their systems. So to ensure that the new customer has sufficient time to know the card before the first bill generation, they shift the first bill generation date to the next month.

If your card was generated after 14/15 of the month, it is very likely that the statement is generated on 15 of the 2nd month of card generation. Example- if your card was generated after 14 July, then the statement will be genrated in September.
I need confirmation on this, but it happened in my case. Card got generated in 27 February, and statement (first billing cycle) arrived on April 15
 
Check axis app. It will show payment date. If it doesn't then your card bill is not generated.
I had my Magnus card bill generated after 2 months after changing the bill date.
That's the thing I don't see any statement generated in app & it's one of my first axis card so checking with community after receiving unsatisfied answers from Customer care

No it was issued on 5th June so technically a statment should have been generated by 12th

Sounds good if I could confirm this a with any other member or customer care. Thing is I want to make a purchase around low 6 digits hence confused, what if I made the purchase & statement gets generated next day ? don't want to mess up things

As 38 days have already been passed since your card approval, there are chances that your bill may generate in the coming few days. 1st,12th,13th,15th,20th,22nd and 25th of every month are the possible bill generation dates of Axis Cards. It may happen that your bill may generate(at the earliest)after 15th of this month. It may also happen that your bill may generate(latest) after 25th of this month.
 
No it was issued on 5th June so technically a statment should have been generated by 12th
You can tweet (send a Direct Message- DM) Axis Bank Twitter handle with the last 4 digits of your card, and ask them the exact date of your bill generation.

Call customer care and confirm it.

Happened with me as well. No need to worry. Just chill.

Your first will be generated between 45 to50 days that's what happened with my father my zone new cc i contacted customer care they said the same. He got his card in march and got his statement in somewhere between may. Don't take any tension. If you still have query contact axis chat support or phone banking for faster support. Mail will take time you can also try that
