Axis Vistara Card Axis Visatara Milestone Reward Retention After Transaction Reversal

I have made a 2.5lac transaction on my axis vistara card and completed the milestone for the same and have received the ticket as well but due to some reason most of the money from that transaction will get reversed 10 days from now (20 days from date of transaction) .

Now my question is what happens to the ticket ?Has anyone experienced this before ?

If you had only received the club Vistara flight voucher it would have been cancelled because of the reversal of the 2.5 lakhs spend

but now that you already bought a ticket, you will be charged the ticket at full price in your next statement

If they don't do this, then everyone with airline milestone cards would buy goods on Amazon or Flipkart and cancel them for a full refund to source, and still get free flight tickets

this not exactly a full reversal, it was a medical bill but the insurance came through later on and they are reversing say 2.4 out of 2.5 lacs.

When refund </> principal then nothing will happen since refund != principal amount it will be treated as a different transaction.

Update : I ended up getting the refund in my bank account instead of the credit card luckily so cant say what happens to the case mentioned above.

Got the ticket on same day as bill generation and points came 15 days later.
