I have been a customer of IndusInd credit cards since last three years, in this duration I received two limit enhancements and one upgrade from Aura Edge LTF to Legend LTF. Although I didn't expect much from IndusInd card and I was spending money on them as and when any good offer came, however in the back of my mind I kept on searching for a better card than Legend.
From TF forum, I came to know that few folks have applied for LTF Pinnacle and their request was duly approved. Loaded with this information, I shot an email to IndusInd customer care to upgrade my Legend LTF to Pinnacle LTF. However, IndusInd customer care ruthlessly rejected my requests at each level. Finally escalated the matter to PNO, and their customer care agreed to offer 15K Pinnacle at a price of 5K joining fee (sans joining benefits). Still I was hell bent on LTF Pinnacle and threatened them to cancel my Legend if they choose not to upgrade my card.
Long story short, they quickly cancelled my Legend card without much haggling 😵 , I was expecting lot of pampering and retention calls whereas they simply chose to cancel my card without any drama. That's when I realised that I pushed them too far in this LTF pursuit, waited for their calls for at least a week to reconcile however they sent an email confirming my card cancellation.
Ultimately I decided to reactivate my Legend as it was anyways an LTF card and I was getting benefitted through it on occasional offers from IndusInd, reached out to their customer care and ask them to reactivate my card, they said it can not be reactivated as it has been cancelled. However, they suggested to issue a replacement card in place of the old one. I agreed and they sent the replacement card in next few days and that's how I came back to the square one with my Legend card 🙁.
