Bali - Forex card vs Cash

Hi ,

I have an upcoming trip to Bali.
I have read at several forums that Bali generally accepts cash rather than cards.

I have HDFC forex card. Should i load it with USD and then once i reach there using ATM withdraw IDR using it ?

Or should i take USD cash from India and get it converted to IDR once i reach Bali.

Which one is better?

Try to take zero forex DC and withdraw from the ATM at Bali directly (Indusind exclusive, Niyo global, IDFC Wow cc etc...).

Try to take cash..I used my card at many places but there were several hacking attempts after I came back to India

Take USD and then convert. Lots and lots of options to convert

Dont use indian ruppes for conerstion in bali. There is no value of indian ruppes while converting to money exchange, There is huge difference on online rate vs offline rate. USE us dollar or any forex card.
