Bangalore Phuket via Singapore Airlines

I am trying to book Bangalore Phuket sometime in October for 4 people (2A+2C)

Mile requirement on Singapore airline is showing as 20K miles oneway. So total is coming to 160K miles + 24K taxes. Revenue rates are around 120K all inclusive with Singapore Air

Is mile requirement usually that high? Does it come down during any promotions? Can we expect any promotions? Spontaneous escapes is not an option since it opens up only one month prior

Any other way to book Singapore Air with lower mile requirements?

Last option is to book revenue only, but checking if some optimisation around miles is possible

As @drsel said it’s 60p. Singapore airlines are good when u use premium seats with points. For economy revenue is better and if u have M4B or Infinia it’s “sone pe Subhaga”

Yeah... point value is quite poor. So I won't use points at this value. I want to understand if there is a possibility of point requirement coming down due to promo etc.

@anirban.choudhury - Any inputs?

I have MB, Atlas and Infinia. Problem is that Travel Edge fare is 133K against 120K on SG website. So I will mostly use Atlas only directly. Lets see

Try Incognito mode and check in traveledge u might some times get cheaper than makemytrip

Check for business class, that will get you better value but I think you can book only one-way.
