Bank Of baroda "Advantage Savings account" fees and charges

Can somebody summarise all charges for this “advantage savings account” along with MAB requirements? This will be really helpful.

Charges like AMC, cheque, closure, sms alerts, etc.

MAB is 2000. Keep 400 extra for each physical debit card that you take. 1st Cheque book is free because I ordered and no charges were taken. Account closure charges after 1 year: NIL. You can opt out of SMS alerts from BOB World app, then no charges were ever taken from me except debit card. My account was opened sometime in the middle of 2022.

Free RuPay Platinum virtual debit card and easy to maintain low MAB are solid benefits.

I tried to open this account


When it ask for additional service, I have

• left debit card unchecked
• check internet banking
• check mobile banking
• left everything else unchecked.

Is that fine or any issue?

Yes by default it gave me RuPay Classic when I had it checked (but I blocked it before charges were levied) so better to use virtual RuPay Platinum and request more physical RuPay Platinum cards as required.

Do this transaction charges means if I make more than 50 transactions in a a month, then I have to pay Rs 15 for each additional transaction? If yes, this account is not meant for UPI transactions.

No there are not a such rules exist in bob

I don't know about BOB. But about 1-2 years ago I remember someone posting on DD that they got hit by these charges. It was a PSU bank I think but I don't know which one

If I need more rupay platinum debit card, how should I apply? What are applicable charges?

App only give option for

• Visa Classic INTL Contactless
• Baroda BPCL Debit card
• Baroda BPCL Debit card
  

Please note that same option is repeated twice.
