Need help with an ongoing dispute issue with Flipkart on my Indusind cc. This is a long story and I'm looking for suggestion and advise on this matter.
In Nov. 2021, I tried to place an order on Flipkart for the amount of rs. 5084 which had 10% instant card discount from IndusInd Bank but when I placed the order the amount of rs.4575 ( after 10% discount) got debited on my card but the order was not processed successfully at Flipkart end stating payment not recived, any debited amount will be refunded to the card. After that I made the same transaction again for the same amount and same items which got processed successfully and I received the product as well out of which I canceled one of the products later amounting rs.1709 and received refund from Flipkart on the same month billing statement but when I didn't receive the refund for the first unsuccessful transaction I contacted Flipkart and they adviced me to dispute the charge with bank. In December 2021 I disputed the charge with bank and they issued provisional credit of Rs 4575 and in May 2022 they confirmed the credit is permanent however in November 2022 they reversed the credit stating The Merchant has disputed the charge back and provided document stating the product was delivered and they also issued partial refund of rupees 1709 and made me liable to pay for the transaction.
From last 2 months I have been contacting Flipkart and IndusInd Bank and they both are just not resolving the matter and stating that you need to contact the other party. I have also filed complaint with RBI against IndusInd bank stating they did not dispute the correct charge when I clearly mentioned that the first transaction of rs. 4575 was invalid whereas the second one was valid for which I received the partial refund from Flipkart.
On January 15th 2023 RBI has also closed the case in bank's favour stating Flipkart has issued partial refund as per the document submitted by Flipkart to the bank so bank is not found deficient and RBI is not providing me any option to appeal it either, instead they have advised me to take legal action if not satisfied with this outcome so I need suggestion and advice what should I do?
