banks don't give premium cards of we close savings account?

hi,
my father had 1 axis liberty and 1 Hdfc Savings max account ,he now have entry level CC from both the banks.
since SBI is go to bank for all purpose and these accounts are lying idle,
can we close them and still get premium cards in future? No affect on profile too?

No they don't. You are required to maintain some TRV.
