Best Bank for Minor

Hey everyone,

I'm planning to open a bank account for my child and wanted some suggestions. I'm not too concerned about earning interest since the balance will be minimal, but I am looking for something that's easy to manage online.

Does anyone know of banks that offer a smooth and hassle-free online account opening process for kids? Would appreciate any recommendations!

Or any bank where you already have a savings account.
Most of them offer free minor account.
No specific differentiation between them.

I got kotak junior with 5000 MAB so closing it soon.

In what banks do you have accounts?
Mostly minor bank accounts are opened under guardianship so having one parent's account is must for minor account opening.

I have my primary bank account in HDFC and then others in Federal/RBL/ICICI

You can get minor account opened in HDFC itself. Access of the account will be via your internet banking.
If you have access of RM in HDFC then you can ask them to visit your home for account opening formality.
Also someone has already mentioned about icici bank in previous post.
So you can choose any one of them.

PS: i have my son's account in HDFC as well as IDFC. IDFC although provides DC with minor savings account but have lots of other restrictions like one cannot register for emandate under minor account. HDFC in that sense is good as emandate can be registered under minor account but HDFC doesn't provide DC before certain age. Once you open account then you can ask for family grouping as well.
